The Valkyrie is our newest exclusive dress design. With carefully embroidered details across the bust, you will notice the Viking rune symbol for love is thoughtfully placed in the centre of the chest. It has many practical features including a draw string waist with added elastic, and a tie up chest for a little extra coverage. It has 2 deep internal pockets and is adaptable for many sizes. Simply pull on, no buttons or zips required. This dress is built for comfort, style and practicality in equal measure. The dress has a gorgeous lace detail across the chest for added shape definition. This bespoke design is 100% cotton with soft underskirt, with a whimsical flared sleeve.

This is the second Valkyrie dress I've bought, and while it's just as lovely as the green, this one arrived with several of the ruffles damaged and fraying. To be honest, I don't expect to have to repair brand new items of clothing. To be brutally honest, this is the fifth AE dress I've experienced quality control issues with, and the fourth, which needs the attention of my sewing skills. Given that this clothing is not cheap, I do expect better.
In addition, this style is definitely not aimed at tall ladies! It's not just that the skirt is shorter than I'd like (a matter of personal preference, of course) but the bodice is short, too. The waist is pretty much under my bust, and the pockets are level with my ribs. At 5'10", I don't think I am quite in the realms of Angrboða, yet this dress does kind of make me feel like that!
Having said all that, I do love the Valkyrie but if I cannot find a way of altering it to fit properly, then we'll have to part ways... which will make me very sad!

Couldn't resist buying this dress which gives immaculate witchy vibes and makes my heart happy! It is beautifully designed and fits wonderfully. One of my favourite dresses to wear as so versatile and can be worn in both warm and cooler weather with my doc Marten sandals or layered with tights and boots!

Oh my goddess!!! I am OBSESSED with this dress and will wear it any chance I get now. I took a risk with getting a potentially bigger size than I am just so I could own one but it fits like a dream and isn’t too long which is an absolute blessing when you’re 5”2! The fabric is lovely and the embroidered detailing by the bust is gorgeous and great quality. I feel so incredibly empowered and witchy in this dress and have received compliments every time I’ve worn it! I just so wish I could’ve gotten one in the green as well but I’m happy and lucky to have this one 🥰
