The corn dolly is a symbol of fertility, abundance, protection, and the turning of the wheel of the year.

The spirit of the grain lives in the fields, and when the crops are cut, the spirit needs a home for the winter. The last sheaf is woven into a doll-like shape to house this spirit until the next planting season.

This Secret Garden Dress embodies elegance with a natural fibre cotton fabric with rayon, with soft cotton underskirt. Deep pockets, flared sleeves and intricate embroidery enhance the luxurious feel.

Care Instruction: First wash, cold by hand. Then, delicate cold machine wash only. Line or air dry. Steam iron only if necessary.

    Sold out in UK but found on the Australian website so paid extra postage willingly to get this dress. Love black for my Watchers Ceremonies the symbols Corn dolls are powerful totems x
